Leading Trends in Toronto Web Design

On 17 Jun 2011, in Graphic Design, by Denisus

Every so often we look into our crystal ball to evaluate and assess the trends in web design and web development. Trends have a tendency to come and go, sometimes staying with us for longer periods of time. However, it is still important to keep on top of the trends at the present time as they are a necessity for growth and development.

One of the most important aspects of web design is Responsive Web Design. This is a fairly new concept not implemented homogeneously within the cyberspace world. Responsive web design usually relates to the concept of creating a website that easily adjusts to any screen resolutions regardless of the device or computer the user is using. The design is quite different from the traditional web design and development. The goal here is to choose the correct media queries which can develop responsive sites. This is something that web developers and web designers across the globe are still trying to master.

Another trend which is the most obvious is the rise in mobile dominance, especially WebKit powered smartphones. The sale of mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone, iPod and Blackberry has exceeded the sale of traditional desktops. Web designers at Business media now create websites using codes which are recognized by mobile devices, and not just desktop PCs. This helps consumers differentiates Business Media web design and web development service from the mundane ones.

The last trend we’ve noticed the past year relates to the boost in social networking sites. With the emergence of Google Plus, Facebook is no longer holding up its monopoly. In the upcoming months, we will see an emergence of other social networking sites such as Tumblr, Digg, StumbleUpon and Spotify. Sites which integrate social networks open themselves up to the infinite and millions of other users and consumers they never thought of reaching.

Business Media often scrutinizes the current trends to boost growth and development. Its R&D department does extensive research on web design and web development in order to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
